Prior to April 2017, this project was supported entirely by players donating gold. Though player donations are no longer required, they were invaluable in us getting started. You can see a list of who contributed here.

On Wiki of Gold is a player-run wiki improvement project supported by ArenaNet with in-game gold that gets awarded to wiki editors for contributing to any article selected below. (You can read the Contribution Terms here. Note that all contributors to this project have to abide by these Contribution Terms and all contributing edits have to be done with a wiki account, meaning anonymous edits are disqualified.)

Contributions to this project are done via edits to articles that are in "Sets" listed below on this project page. Two articles that could use improvement are selected for each Set by Delsea. Make a helpful, contributing edit to either article to be mailed 10 Gold coin in Guild Wars 2. Every person can get that 10 gold once per Set. Multiple Sets run consecutively, and you can get the 10 gold for each Set you contribute to.

How to participate: Make your contribution to an article that is in a Set listed below on this project page and then sign this page you're reading right now with the account name or character name where you would like the gold to be sent. You can add a brief description of what you added or changed to make your contribution easier to verify.

Edits must be accurate, clear, coherent, relevant to the topic, and improve the article. The edits can be either small or large. However, for the purposes of this project, making a few minor punctuation alterations is not substantial enough. From Set 1001 onwards, you may alternatively edit any article the focused article directly links to. If you do, please [[wikilink]] it when you sign your name to make your contribution easier to verify.

This project is organised by Delsea (Delsea.2576), and it's officially supported by ArenaNet (under the following Contribution Terms). If you happen to find this page while browsing the wiki, please feel free to participate. If you have any questions or suggestions for future articles to focus, please make a comment on the discussion page. All are welcome, everyone from wiki veterans to complete newcomers!

Prior to Set 1300, the contribution incentive was 2 gold + 20 Gems, whereas now it's 10 gold. You can read more about this improvement here. But 20 gems is too few to be able to send someone, so for a while, the players on this list will be on the previous system until they reach a multiple of 400 gems. At that time, I can send them a code for 400 gems and move them over to the new method. Gems for this project were supplied by the following sources:
