Walkthrough[edit]

  • Interact with the Foreboding Relic in the center of the room to start the event.
  • This relic will show an overhead icon indicating which symbol is safe, and any Seer Traps showing the same icon should be pressed.
  • The symbol will change every 15 seconds, rotating through blue → purple → yellow.
    • As long as a trap is interacted with before the symbol changes, it will stay safe for the interaction.
  • The cave spiders will interrupt pressing the plates.
  • The rolling balls cannot be dodged through.

Dialogue[edit]

Before event start
Cade the Coyote: Ah, look at that, will you? A pretty impressive-looking bauble, wouldn't you say?
Cade the Coyote: But what need do I have for ancient baubles, eh? So uh...go ahead, I'll keep watch while you get it.
Foreboding Relic: (Magic pulses faintly from the object, producing strange patterns in the air. There is something ominous about this object.)
Talk ready option.png When has that ever stopped me before?
Talk end option tango.png (Leave.)
Talking to Cade the Coyote after he opens the door, but before starting the event, still implies the door is closed.
Event start
Cade the Coyote: Oh, come on now! Traps, and here of all places?
Cade the Coyote: That ain't right, them trying to do you like this. I don't approve, quite frankly.
Cade the Coyote: But don't you worry, I'm trying my best to help you get out of there. You have my word.
Talking to Cade the Coyote during the event
Cade the Coyote: Better hurry up and get in there. Don't worry about me. I can see fine from here.
Talk more option tango.png What are you talking about?
Do I really have to... Heh. The plates, friend. Go step on the plates to deal with the traps.
Talk end option tango.png Hm. I guess I'll help with that.
Talk end option tango.png I'd rather stay at this distance, myself.
Upon pressing a correct symbol
Cade the Coyote: Great, you're doing it.
Cade the Coyote: Oh come on! Not even an arrow out of the wall or spikes from the floor?
Cade the Coyote: Wait, why didn't that spring nothing'?
Upon pressing a wrong symbol
Cade the Coyote: Can't take too many more of those, I wouldn't think.
Cade the Coyote: Oh, that didn't sound good.
Cade the Coyote: These are some cruel blighters, [sic] aren't they?
Event success
Cade the Coyote: Ah, good, you uh...you solved it.
Cade the Coyote: Tell you what, go ahead and take that prize there, and Ill be on my way. No need to thank me or anything. We're even.
Event failure
Cade the Coyote: You're still fumbling about in there? What's your problem anyway? It's damn rude is what it is.
Cade the Coyote: This has been a total waste of time...

Notes[edit]

  • Upon event failure, the room will stay open for four minutes before kicking players out.
  • Upon event success, a message is shown in the middle of the screen saying "A door has unlocked deep within the basilica."
All doors during The Basilica Vaults require Isgarren to open them, so they aren't really unlocked.
