The Highest Gear is a jumping puzzle located at Lastgear Standing in Auric Basin. It requires Ley Line Gliding to complete.

Getting there

The puzzle is located just past the Ancient Golem Part Hero Point. Go past the Hero Point and head south east until you find a small light on a ramp that leads up to some mushroom pads. This is the start of the puzzle.

This puzzle is pretty simple and uses a straightforward path up mushroom pads and across ley lines to complete it. As the ley lines will only pulse in one direction, you'll know you're going the right way if they push you forward and don't throw you back to where you are. Follow the path to the top to the chest. Go up the boulder and then follow the series of mushrooms up to a ley line. Take the ley line to another series of mushrooms and follow those to the end. Glide to the two mushrooms sticking out from the rock on the right. Take the ley line and then go up the stone ramp. Take the ley line at the top of the ramp to the distant platform with asuran crates and lanterns. Go into the cave and up the mushroom staircase heading back towards the entrance. Take the ley line to the distant branch. Use the mushrooms to climb towards the base of the branch. Use the mushrooms on the various branches to your right to cross to the far platform. Take the ley line to the end of the puzzle. Congratulations you have completed Highest Gear, claim your reward from the small chest in front of the broken golem.
