Vallus Smokemane is a charr mesmer who is the sire of the player character if the "honorless gladium" biography option was chosen. He is a member of the Mane Warband, and is a bit of a loose cannon who does what he believes is the right course of action, even defying orders. Later in the story, the player may choose to either kill him or help him escape.
