Trivia

• This staff is a reference to a staff in Guild Wars 1 called Raven Staff. It is very similar in appearance. Linsey Murdock, Design Lead at ArenaNet, explained during Guild Chat episode 19:

"There was always this kind of running gag from Guild Wars 1 of the Raven Staff being just the most prolific rare drop. [...] So like nobody cared about this skin even though the Raven Staff was actually a pretty cool weapon. [...] We always talked about how wouldn't it be funny if in Guild Wars 2 the Raven Staff is actually legendary?"

• Prior to the July 13, 2021 game update, this weapon could only be crafted once per account.
