Human male variant. |
A Suspicious Villager can be seen near the Village of Shaemoor, carrying a tray of drinks. She will yell for the attention of a guard on the bridge and after meeting him and giving him a drink, will use her sword on him, killing him, and turning into a Bandit Saboteur.
A large group of them (actually Jackdaw Pirates in disguise) can be found attempting to waylay merchants in Gendarran Fields.
Event involvement[edit]
- Destroy the roadblock the bandits have constructed to stop Shaemoor traffic (2)
- Defend the merchant caravan (30)
Location[edit]
Dialogue[edit]
Asura[edit]
Female[edit]
- In the leadup to Defend the merchant caravan (30) on the bridge
- What do you want? Be expedient. I have enough work to deal with, thanks to this nexus of nitwits I'm grouped with.
- So, how's the loitering business?
- (if the Veteran Suspicious Villager is nearby)
- No, not while my idiot of a boss is in proximity. Bah, he's a tactical genius like my aunt is a flying machine. Communicate with me when he graces us with his absence.
- I see.
- Disastrous, but it's not a surprise. Our income streams will be sorely limited as long as this buffoon is in charge. Pfft, I could devise a better plan to procure gold in my sleep.
- Absolutely. I bet you are clever enough to get rich without these fools.
- Well, good luck with that.
- I'll be leaving.
Male[edit]
- In the leadup to Defend the merchant caravan (30) on the shoreline
- If this leonine lummox hasn't scared all the fish away already, your looming, blundering presence surely will. Depart this area immediately.
- Got it. Leaving.
- In the leadup to Defend the merchant caravan (30) on the bridge
- I'm surrounded by imbeciles. It's an exorbitant price to pay for a pitiful volume of plunder.
- What's the problem?
- (if the Veteran Suspicious Villager is nearby)
- Not now. Speak to me when my "esteemed" leader is no longer in close proximity.
- I understand.
- I'm wasting my time with these barnacle brains. I can feel my intellect corroding with each passing second. Do I receive pay to make up for working with these nitwits? Negative.
- You know, with your brains, you could do a lot better than these bums.
- Yeah, sounds rough.
- I'll leave you to it.
Charr[edit]
- In the leadup to Defend the merchant caravan (30) on the shoreline
- I've got nothing to say to you.
- Not much luck today, I take it?
- More luck than you'll have, if you keep talking.
- All right, no need to be so gruff. I'm leaving.
- I'll be going.
- In the leadup to Defend the merchant caravan (30) on the bridge
- What do you want from me? I've got a job to do. And that's...fishing. Yeah, fishing. Go away.
- Sounds like you got a problem.
- (if the Veteran Suspicious Villager is nearby)
- Can't talk. Assemble back here when the head mouse isn't close by.
- I'll try again when he's further away.
- Waiting here at the bridge is passive, weak. We should be taking the fight to them!
- I don't know who you are fighting, but why wait? Is your boss too scared?
- I'll be going now.
- I'll be on my way.
Human[edit]
Female[edit]
- In the leadup to Defend the merchant caravan (30) in Applenook
- I love the bread here. It's so much better than hardtack.
- Hardtack? As in biscuits for sailors?
- Uh...yea. I imagine this bread is way better than whatever those pirates eat. I wouldn't know of course. I'm just a villager.
- Right. I'll leave you alone with your bread.
- Thanks for the tip. Maybe I'll check out her stock.
- In the leadup to Defend the merchant caravan (30) on the bridge
- I'm a little busy right now.
- All right then.
Male[edit]
- In the leadup to Defend the merchant caravan (30)
- Um...I really shouldn't be talking to you.
- Something fishy is going on here. What are you doing on the bridge?
- (if the Veteran Suspicious Villager is nearby)
- The boss will give me the lash if he sees me talking to you.
- We'll speak again when he's further away.
- I'm just following orders. Gully said it would be easy money, but what if the caravan has guards?
- You should worry more about all the different ways I know how to hurt people. Run, now.
- That's enough whining for me.
- I'll leave you be.
Quotes[edit]
- Upon choosing ferocity dialogue option

- All right, I'll go. Just don't break my legs!
- (Charr)
- Blood and fire! I'm not taking orders from that scabby mouse any longer.
- Upon choosing dignity dialogue option
- (Male asura)
- Yes. This krewe couldn't get their bearings if I gave them an aetheric sextant and detailed instructions.
- Upon choosing charisma dialogue option
- (Female asura)
- These clods don't possess the vision that I do. I can acquire more money elsewhere.
Notes[edit]
