Walkthrough

• An Extra-Pungent Skyscale Treat can be used to finish the closest achievement step on the current map. It works to a range of at least 85,115 units. It is recommended to use that Skyscale Treat to rescue your skyscale from the Champion Branded Ley-Line Anomaly —final step, number 21— as that is the hardest.

4	Skyscale Lost—Buried Archives		Anchorage Waypoint —	Bypass the JP by using springer to climb high up the wall just north of the skyscale collection marker (end of JP). Use Bond of Faith from a springer and/or glide over.
5	Skyscale Lost—Skipping Stones		Sleive's Waypoint —	Bypass the JP by getting to the outside where the JP ends. Mounts are disabled if you get too close. So mount a springer just outside this restricted area, high jump, then Bond of Faith to launch toward the ledge where the skyscale rests. An easier option is if you have the Griffon, just scale the high point next to the waypoint and begin gliding over. When you are far enough away, launch off and use your glider to get there. If you don't have a griffon or Bond of Faith, use springer to climb the cliffs to the north, then glide in. You will be forced off the glider, but you will land on the cliff with the skyscale.
6	Skyscale Lost—Goemm's Lab		Cuatl Waypoint —	It is possible to bypass the entire JP using springer, explained in the spoilers section of the jumping puzzle.
7	Skyscale Lost—Shadow Behemoth		Swamplost Haven Waypoint —	Interact with Skyscale Tracks upon event completion; you must have participated to progress the achievement.
8	Skyscale Lost—Fawcett's Bounty		Arca Waypoint —	Bypass the JP by using a springer near  Arca Waypoint — . Starting from the Waypoint, follow the cliff east a bit until you see a ledge above you. Look for the tree south of the ledge and position yourself left of it, facing the skyscale. Back away carefully, until you are able to mount up. Jump as high as you can and move forwards while in mid-air. You will be dismounted at the top of your jump: deploy your glider immediately and glide to the ledge. Instead of moving forward mid-air, you can also use Bond of Faith. It is slightly easier but not required to make the jump. If you don't use this skip, complete the jumping puzzle and then jump off the southern side of the ship. Swim to the path heading upward. The Skyscale is at the end of this path, after the Aetherblade Cache.
9	Skyscale Lost—Shattered Ice Ruins		Ice Floe Waypoint —	Bypass the JP by using a springer to climb the southwest corner of the hill directly east of the WP. From the southwest corner, head southwest across the gap by raptor, griffon, skimmer, or turtle. Then walk across the roof and drop down to the skyscale. Alternative: If you have High Vault Springer, you can go south from the waypoint just past a chain, use High Vault to summit the west point of the cliff, run and jump northeast and east, drop down and collect the chest, then glide down and find your Skyscale. Diving goggles are nearby if that interests you.
10	Skyscale Lost—Spider King		Breaktooth's Waypoint —
11	Skyscale Lost—Griffonrook Run		False Lake Waypoint —	Bypass the JP by going to the outside of the JP directly east of the skyscale collection marker (end of JP). Mounts are disabled if you get too close, but you can mount a springer just outside this restricted area, high jump, then Bond of Faith to launch toward a ridged outcrop that runs towards the skyscale. Run forward to the wall, jump at it aiming slightly left, then scale it to get to the skyscale.
12	Skyscale Lost—Coddler's Cove		Okarinoo Waypoint —	Bypass the JP by using a springer with Bond of Faith in order to glide to the end. From the entrance of the cave with the JP, follow the path with the yellow orbs on the left side of the wall, until you reach the deeper water. Dive through it and walk up the slope leading back into the cave with the orbs. From there, follow the wall on your left until you reach the corner. Jump up the rock a bit until you can mount. Use springer to jump as high as you can while pressing forward mid-air and use Bond of Faith in order to have enough altitude to glide all the way til the end, on the opposite side of the cave and slightly up. Finding the correct spot might take a few tries, since the ceiling is fairly low and collision will botch the jump. If you don't have Bond of Faith, you can either try to aim for one of the orbs so only a few jumps are left. Or land on the platform to the right, which at least skips about half of the JP.
13	Skyscale Lost—Inquest Golem Mark II		Old Sledge Site Waypoint —	Interact with Skyscale Tracks upon event completion; you must have participated to progress the achievement.
14	Skyscale Lost—Highjump Ranch Spire		Highjump Ranch Waypoint —	Doing Skyscale Lost—City above the Flats first allows you to fly there directly. Use your Springer with Bond of Faith to gain more height at drop site and both Gliding and Gliding Booster (Jade Bot) on cooldown. Otherwise you can simply jump up with springer from the northern side of the cliff. Be mindful of Harpy Spellbreaker and Harpy Predator, as there are quite a few of them.
15	Skyscale Lost—City above the Flats		Highjump Ranch Waypoint —	On the same platform as Desert Highlands Insight: Above the Flats. Getting there normally requires Shifting Sands mastery in order to use the Sand Portal west of the mastery insight, on the ground-level. Alternatively, it can also be accessed with Griffon by flying southeast from the highest point of Altar of Dakhma. You can borrow one from the roost north of Nimbose Butte. 16	Skyscale Lost—Maculate Fringe		Temple of Kormir Waypoint —	Climb up to the Branded Pyramid hero challenge and turn around to take the Sand Portal, requiring Shifting Sands mastery. Follow the path to the end to find the skyscale next to the chest. You can also use the Griffon from the top of the pyramid and fly northwest to the sand road.
17	Skyscale Lost—Glint's Legacy		Destiny's Gorge Waypoint —	You may also use the Griffon and fly south from the Maculate Fringe skyskale point.
18	Skyscale Lost—Sanctum of Nabkha		Destiny's Gorge Waypoint —	On top of the Sanctum of Nabkha (mini-dungeon). Either complete the puzzle (Shifting Sands mastery required) or bypass it with Griffon from Temple of Kormir. You can also use the use nearby Griffon roost and fly south.
19	Skyscale Lost—Hall of Ascension		Augury's Shadow Waypoint —	The Path to Ascension must be completed up to Defeat Branded Josso Essher in the Ascension Chamber in order to access Augury Rock.
