The Altar of Dakhma is a group of snow-covered sandstone structures of unknown origin. The structure has been abandoned and is now home to a flock of owl griffons. Strong winds occur in the higher areas of the altar, instantly knocking away anyone caught in it.
Notes
- These structures are the same design as seen in Lost Precipice, The Silverwastes, and Shrouded Ruins. Any relation is still unknown.
Trivia
- A Dakhma, also called a Tower of Silence, is a circular, raised structure built by Zoroastrians for excarnation – that is, for dead bodies to be exposed to carrion birds.
