Mystery of Drakkar's Lair is an achievement for completing a light puzzle within Drakkar's Lair in Whispering Depths.

Getting there

Use the Raven Gate west of  Cavern of Lost Sons — . The gate is in the wall. Players must have the Raven's Flight mastery to use the Raven Gate; this Raven Gate cannot be accessed if the meta for Drakkar is running.

Walkthrough

The path for the light puzzle is fairly obvious, working around the cavern. There appears to be a 5 minute timer on the light before you need to go back and start it again. This is enough time to run the puzzle if you don't stop to kill any mobs along the way. A Prototype Position Rewinder is useful to be able to pull yourself back up onto the scaffolding if you fall, eliminating the need to run back past mobs. Walkthrough Start out by climbing up the planking to get to the Raven Lamp and starting that running. Follow the scaffolding across the room to get over the archway blocked with fallen rubble. Jump across the planks to the scaffolding in the room and adjust both mirrors. Continue following around the cavern, getting up onto scaffolding as much as possible. Once you make it to the point where you are on the ship deck, there are not any more mirrors to adjust. You may see the completion message pop up before you reach the shrine. Just follow the light to the shrine and reward chest.

Notes

• Players cannot start the puzzle if the Champion of the Ice Dragon meta is occurring. If already inside this puzzle, and the meta starts, the following notification shows, teleporting players outside:
  • Drakkar's whispers grow louder. Its power begins to drive you from this place...
• If completing the puzzle to purify Lingering Icebrood Aether for Aurene's Facet of Persuasion, you cannot teleport or use a Prototype Position Rewinder.

Trivia

• The first half of the Kinfall Fractal takes place in the same location.
