Getting there
Starting from the 
Chak Hollow Waypoint — , head to the right of the 
Jawatl Grounds — such that you can walk along the ramp above the entrance. Jump to the intersecting ramp, walk into the open area, and then head right along the inside of the tree trunk. Jump into the first updraft, then quickly turn left and glide through the next two updrafts, which will give you sufficient height to reach the platform with the mastery insight.
