Wooden Chest

The Wooden Chest is an object used to indicate PvE loot drops of rare quality; it replaces the sparkles that appear for other drops from foes. Like those sparkles, it appears only to you and cannot be seen or looted by others. Unlike chests, they don't have an opening animation.

Trivia
- This mechanic was introduced as part of the Flame and Frost: Prelude update update, but it appeared for items of masterwork or better rarity. This was changed to the current filter as part of the Flame and Frost: The Gathering Storm update.
