Veteran Mordrem Vinetooth
Veteran Mordrem Vinetooth are Mordrem created by Mordremoth to hunt down Exalted and tear away their masks, the only known means by which Mordrem can kill them.
The Vinetooth's anatomy reflects this purpose. Its powerful jaws are specially adapted to break through Exalted armor, while a prominent horn on the front of its head resembles a tool used to crack open shells and extract their contents. Rather than simple spikes, the protrusions on its head are root- and branch-like growths that extend backward and connect with its spine. The creature is also covered in numerous vines, befitting its name.
As the Vinetooth consumes Exalted energy, some of that energy escapes through holes and hollow chambers throughout its body, visibly coursing through and dispersing within the creature. These openings may be the result of corrosion caused by consuming pure Exalted energy or by the acidic substances the Vinetooth secretes.[1]
