Turtles are enemies found in Super Adventure Box. Hitting them with a weapon flips them over, allowing players to stand on them, making crossing poisonous or fast-flowing waters possible without taking damage. They will bite at players who get too close to them if not flipped over however.

Notes
- They cannot be killed, only stunned for a brief time.
Bow will kill a Turtle.

- They are a play on Box Turtles.
- They have little stamps of the different zones of Super Adventure Box on their sides with New Krytan 16-bit font (the back spells Dark Forest instead of the zone name Dark Woods).
