Template:Prefix selection

Description

This template is used to describe the stat selection mechanic on certain equipment such as legendary weapons. The attributes are generated with a call to the {{prefix attributes}} template. This requires a call to {{Item stat lookup}}, which generally happens in the infobox template. To use this template outside an infobox template, the call to {{Item stat lookup}} must been done explicitly. The prefixes are listed in order they are given. Uses {{prefix display}}, {{prefix requires}}, {{prefix attributes}} to format the output.

Usage

Parameters

1 (unnamed parameter)

Comma-separated list of prefixes. To see the full list of possible prefixes, see Template:Prefix attributes#Full parameter list. Some commonly observed groups of prefixes can also be produced with the following short-hands, which allows the prefix group to be updated in the future without modifying all affected pages:

• all legendary trinket, all ascended trinket
  • Used for legendary/ascended trinkets, includes eod prefixes: Dragon's and Ritualist's
• all fractals
  • Armor pieces and weapons sold by BLING-9009
• all legendary, all ascended, all exotic
  • Used for legendary/ascended/exotic weapons and armor pieces
• all wvw
  • WvW weapons: exotic Obsidian weapons, ascended Mistforged Obsidian weapons, ascended Mistforged Hero's weapons
  • WvW armor: ascended Triumphant Hero's armor and ascended Mistforged Triumphant Hero's armor
  • PvP armor: ascended Ardent Glorious armor and ascended Mistforged Glorious Hero's armor
  • Crystal Desert Reward Track: Warbeast armor, Bounty Hunter's armor, Elonian armor contained in Desert Armor Box
• all wvw exotic
  • WvW weapons: exotic Mistforged Hero's weapons
  • WvW armor: exotic Triumphant armor and exotic Triumphant Hero's armor
  • PvP armor: exotic Glorious armor
  • Legacy Armor Reward Track: exotic armor contained in Legacy Armor Box
• all assaulter, all defender, all healer, or all malicious
• all eod
  • (Deprecated) Used for exotic and ascended End of Dragons equipment (except ascended trinkets), includes eod prefixes: Dragon's and ritualist's
• all eod trinket
  • (Deprecated) Used for ascended End of Dragons trinkets, includes eod prefixes: Dragon's and Ritualist's

no requirements

Optional. Used to disable expansion requirements, automatically disabled for all legendary and all legendary trinket.

collapsed

Optional. Change the default loading state of the list to collapsed by setting this parameter equal to "y". Where more than 9 prefixes have been specified, the template defaults to the collapsed state.

id

Optional. Used for subobjects, sets the prefixes to the subobject associated with the "id".

subobject

Optional. Used for subobjects without "id". Set to the subobject name, i.e. the part behind the hash: <pagename>#<suboject name>.
