Questions regarding Selachimorpha

1. What is the minimum/compulsory raw gold required to craft this legendary?

2. For components that can be purchased more than once, what is the point of the game having this functionality? Isn't crafting just 1 Selachimorpha Container enough to unlock the legendary for all characters on the account?

1) 500 raw for the Concentrated Chromatic Sap and Patron of the Magical Arts Plaque. Everything else can use just the rewards of you don't use them for something else first.

2) No point to buying more unless you happened to destroy a component for some reason and decide to make it later. Similar to how you can buy copies of misplaced items for Legendary Precursor Journey collections even though you can only craft each precursor once.

1. 500g static for the new gifts + 500g for 2 Gift of Condensed Might/Magic so I would say +-1000g

Sound Effects

Gallery

I noticed that there were no images of the Aquabreather skin, so I took some Screenshots. As a result, I discovered that this page didn't have screenshots for Charr, Asura, Norn, or Sylvari. I took Screenshots of my Charr and Asura and tried to upload them to the Wiki. At the very same time, User:Sime made another edit, and overrode the images I'd been trying to add. I sent through the history of the page and on 07:52, 9 February 2026‎ User:Cronologicall removed the images because "The gallery feels redundant and does not showcase the uniqueness of the item/characters." Based on Cronologicall's comment, the images I added do seem to showcase uniqueness. What do we do about the gallery moving forward? When I took my screenshots, I didn't know that the other ones were existing in the File System but not linked to anything. --GuildWarsLibrarian (talk) 18:02, 6 June 2026 (UTC)

Hi! Thanks for chipping in, I really appreciate it! =) Just a friendly heads up, we usually prefer if we're taking picture of a piece of equipment to not have any other equipment in the picture. That's so it's easier to understand what happens when that piece of equipment or item is used or worn, as sometimes wearing other things can hide some cool effects that need to be shown. I'm not sure what the other user is talking about in terms of "uniqueness" as the ones that are on the page work fine in terms of showing off the equipment. The only thing I currently see that's needed is the norn without any other armor or skins on; maybe that's what they meant. If you could get that, that would be cool! And just jpgs are fine. Hey, as Doodle says, we prefer pictures that show only the particular item in question - in this case, the aquabreather. I tagged some of these images for deletion since a version of them already exists (but as you correctly pointed out, weren't linked anywhere), but as was said feel free to upload over them with a new version, and we generally don't want "duplicate" images aka more images showing the exact same thing - which is also why often a picture of only human and charr exists, as other races typically share the design with humans. I see you already uploaded the norn pictures which are great, I hope you didn't get discouraged by this. ~Sime 19:24, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
