Trading in Influence?[edit]

I'm having some problems with trading Influence for Favor.

  1. I have several thousand influence points I would like to trade for Favor, but that requires access to the Favor Broker, Ronald Lefleur..
  2. I can not find Ronald Lefleur.
    1. I do not see him in the 'east end of the Guild Initiative Headquarters' at the moment. If he really shows up there from time to time, some information about how often would make a good addition to this article.
    2. You need the Favor to get to the Lost Precipice or the Gilded Hollow which are the other places he is alleged to appear. This is a "Catch 22" situation.

Weekly Favor Cap - what's up with it?[edit]

About 2 or 3 updates ago, the Weekly Favor Cap seems to have been fixed by ANet. Now, there really is a cap.
Before this change, it was as if the Weekly Favor Cap wasn't there. You could get as much Favor as possible regardless of what the blue meter showed.

I've heard various people saying that currently, this "weekly" favor cap isn't really weekly, but it resets at random. For sure it will reset when Guild Missions reset weekly, but there seems to be other times during the week where it resets too.
Is there any detailed information regarding this? --118.101.121.134 19:05, 2 October 2016 (UTC)

I experienced it this week, where my guild earned 2400 favor. I believe any upgrade you build uses the favor from the blue bar first.
My situation was the following:
  • On Saturday, we did a few missions raising 1100 favor.
  • We then purchased an upgrade costing 500 favor.
  • On Sunday, we did additional missions raising 900 favor, which should have put us at the 2000/2000 cap.
  • However, I noticed the cap only mentioned 1500/2000.
  • We then did another mission for 400, and it did both raise the blue bar to 1900/2000 and raise our reserves by 400 (so it's not just a display glitch - we did receive the 400 in full).
So I believe the 500 from the upgrade came from the 1100 favor we initially raised.
Meaning we had:
  • 1100/2000 after the first missions for 1100 favor
  • 600/2000 after purchasing the upgrade costing 500 favor
  • 1500/2000 after the second set of missions for 900 favor
  • 1900/2000 after the last mission for 400 favor
Meaning by slipping an upgrade in-between the missions we got 2400 favor out of the week (it is certain we are 1900 above our initial amount at the beginning of the week, with an upgrade costing 500 favor built - the last 400 were properly counted). Futeko (talk) 21:46, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
