Stop the caffeinated skritt burglar before it escapes with the treasure is a level 80 dynamic event that occurs in the Crystal Desert. A Caffeinated Skritt Burglar spawns when a chest is opened and then runs away, dropping multiple purple-glowing loot sacks.

Rewards

• Drops up to three small loot bag while attempting to escape, each containing Bag of Coffee Beans, a random weapon or piece of armor with CFine rarity or above.
• Drops bags that cannot be selected but which can be looted for 3 minutes after defeat. These bags contain an item for the specialization weapon collection of the looting character profession if the account has not yet obtained it.
• Spawns a Pitcher of Desert-Spiced Coffee which is available for 5 minutes after event completion.
• Characters do not have to participate in the event to collect loot.
