What's this about an investigation?

Special Agent Teng: Among Shing Jea's most prominent sycophants–or "upper society" as they like to be referred–dwell traitorous hearts.

Special Agent Teng: The Ministry of Purity is gone, but a fascist autocracy represents the "good old days" some wish to return to.

Special Agent Teng: Can't imagine why. I suspect a number of those so-called Purists are attending this ostentatious affair.

Special Agent Teng: Let libation loosen lips, identify the secret Purists, and then let's end this party with a bang, shall we?

Special Agent Teng: I knew I could count on you. I'll conjure you a nice disguise so you can blend in with the rest of these "well-to-dos."

Special Agent Teng: Well, we've been subverting the political sovereignty of mainland Tyria for decades. Only fair you get to do the same.

Special Agent Teng: I'm kidding. I need someone on the inside I can trust. That you're an outsider is precisely why I can count on you.

Who are the Purists?

Special Agent Teng: They're a cult of sorts–one that wants to bring Cantha back to her days of isolationism and xenophobia.

Special Agent Teng: Used to be a fringe ideology, but they've grown in numbers in recent years.

Special Agent Teng: Like a many-headed dragon, they never seem to stay down–no matter how many times we extinguish them.

Are you doing this alone?

Special Agent Teng: I requested support from the local MinSec precinct. All I got was one rookie.

Special Agent Teng: Officer Serin is on our side, so keep an eye out for them. A little green, but their heart's in the right place.
