A Snowdrift is found inside the Forging Steel strike mission. It can be collected and placed either into Snow Pile or given to Nicabar Steelweaver, who uses it to create Health Tonics. Interacting with it will give you the 
Melting Snowball effect, when it expires, the bundle will disappear.
