• As it was unclear whether they were demons, nightmares, or Void, Gyala Delve Shades were considered to be of an unknown race during What Lies Beneath and Deep Research, as per a statement by Narrative Director Bobby Stein. With the release of What Lies Within, they were confirmed to be demons by an objective within the Emotional Release story step.
