Runeforger's Chest

Runeforger's Chest can be found around various locations in the Crystal Desert that are accessible only with jackal with trained Shifting Sands mastery. Among other items, each chest contains a certain exotic ring needed for each Ascended Specialization weapon collection.

  - The Teratohedron (Not quite all the way up to the Branded Pyramid hero challenge, face south and ride your jackal through the Sand Portal, then walk up the sand path.)
Elon Riverlands
- Skyward Reach
  - Cave of the Lost (Near where you achieve Descension)
- The Deadhouse (One in the path of Deadhouse Vault insight and the other near it)
Desert Highlands
- Salt Flats (At Above the Flats insight)
- Transcendent Bay (Near Discarded Vessels insight)
