Reaper's Gate is a small canyon and temple to Grenth in the east of Lornar's Pass. It contains a statue that once allowed access to the Underworld via an Avatar of Grenth, and is now overrun with creatures from the Mists.

In 1330 AE, a dead body was found there, and Spirit Hordes, servants of Dhuum, began to appear. Shortly after, a portal to the Underworld opened up.

Getting there

Southwest of the Steam Mechagate Point of Interest there is a dwarven doorway leading to a tunnel full of grubs. Heading south through the tunnel leads you to Reaper's Gate.

The Guild Wars Wiki has an article on Temple of Grenth.

• Using the /kneel emote anywhere near the commune point for Grenth's Door grants the Grenth's Blessing nourishment, which gives 28% chance to steal life on critical hits, and +10 experience per kill for 5 minutes.
• The shades were replaced by Spirit Horde around Halloween 2017 release.
