These are the expected rewards for a level 37 player. Higher level players receive dynamically adjusted rewards.

When encountering first grubs: Fen: It's unfortunate that even the docile grubs will attack me in this state.

When arriving to a lone tombstone: Fen: Oh, Elise. I'm sorry I wasn't there when the attack came.; Fen: I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

At Fen's destination: Fen: We made it. Thank you, my friend. I can take care of myself from here on out.

Fen: Hello again, my friends. It's been too long.

Fen: The world has become a darker place since you've been gone. Too much so to tell.

Fen: The cave, at least, is still much the same as you remember it.

Fen: (laughs) Well, your saplings have gotten a little bigger I suppose.

After exiting the cave: Fen: I don't think I'll ever get used to being small. But it was worth it to make my journey.

A Guild Race location is at the grave site location, and Fen can attack players transformed for the race.
Grubs aren't hostile to players but will attack Fen.
After Fen has moved on from the first grave, a ghost named Elise appears on the grave and you can talk to her. If you have Twilight I: The Experimental Nightsword unlocked, you will receive Final Sorrow upon talking to her.
After completing the event Fen offers an item for sale.
There is a pre-event to bring Fen spores, the escort will start 1:30 minutes after you turn in the spores.
