Not All Who Wander Are Lost
Not All Who Wander Are Lost is a Mini-dungeon in Lake Doric, featuring a puzzle to access an otherwise inaccessible area with unbound magic and an Ancient Chest. Completing it awards an achievement.
Getting there
May only be accessed during the night by solving a puzzle. The entrance itself is a normally closed gate in the southeast of Melandru's Refuge.
Walkthrough
In the southern part of New Loamhurst is a distinctive forge alight with blue fire. Using a Stick, which can be found on the ground nearby, lights an Ethereal Torch. This torch makes regular weapon skills unavailable, replacing them with just one skill. The torch is necessary to complete the puzzle and dropping it before the gate is open will make it impossible to complete the further steps. The torch may be created as many times as necessary.
The priestess only spawns at night. Speaking to her starts an escort event, which does not display in the UI. If the event fails, she will respawn every few minutes until either she reaches the statue of Melandru or dawn arrives.
During the escort of the priestess, six stones found at the bases of trees must be lit with the Ethereal Torch. Failing to light a stone before the priestess arrives there will result in failure of the event. Even though the torch replaces regular weapon skills, which makes fighting enemies infeasible, this event is soloable because the monsters nearby can be walked around. After the escort is complete, in the hidden area, an Ancient Chest can be found in the center and players will receive the achievement credit.
