Even sleep doesn't grant them reprieve, mentally. It helps their body heal naturally, but they're often pulled awake by unseen threats... Whispers.

Most of my patients are dealing with some form of possession or influence, yes. Kryptis, wracking their minds... it's keeping their bodies from healing, it seems.

As best I can tell, the wounds of patientds under any sort of influence are healing much slower than those who are not. It's just a guess at this point, but...
