Mate Watt is an Order of Whispers agent under the command of Admiral Snap and Admiral Clarinda Demard. He is stationed at Karinn's Passage in Sparkfly Fen to help with the salvaging of the Wreck of the Argent Warrior.

- Gak! Don't talk to me. Can't you see I'm in the midst of surveillance?
How am I supposed to know that?
- If you were as observant as I am, you'd appreciate the slight narrowing of my eyes which indicates a keen interest in something nearby.
- What are you watching?
- I shouldn't have to tell you that, but I'm nothing if not generous. There's a shadow over there. I've been watching it, and I believe it has malicious intent. Don't look! I'm waiting for it to make its move.
