Dialogue

Brendha's skills with a weapon are nigh insurpassable. But in the rare case of defeat, she blames her failure on equipment malfunctions! The armor's cracked... the sword's not balanced...

Maybe she needs new equipment.

Granted the armor WAS cracked that one time. And maybe the sword wasn't the best quality. Who knew swords could shatter like that? And she did still take the ogre down with her bare hands.
