"Thought I was pullin' yer fins, didn't ya? I told ya. I tell... I tell no... I told ya the truth!" —"Captain" Lakes

Captain Weyandt being known as a collector of valuable and powerful items, he found Acquiring Agaleus, learning from a crew member who was a former shaman of the Spirit of the Shark, that this aquabreather is an artifict of this Spirit of the Wild which grants swimming speed and it gives some physical features of a shark. Therefore he wanted to keep it only for himself and because of his greed, he hidden the aquabreather and its pieces through the waters of Shipwreck Strand, Siren's Reef, Southsun Cove, Lion's Arch, Bloodtide Coast and Cursed Shore, but other 2 pieces ended up in possession of Captain Wiley and Admiral Taidha Convigton.

After finding out that Captain Weyandt kept the aquabreather only for himself and hidden it, some members of his crew, including "Captain" Ruymond Lakes, mutinied against him but without success, resulting in him, Cecil the Strong Arm and the crew member who was a former shaman of the Spirit of the Shark being thrown overboard and shipwrecked on the Castora shores in Shipwreck Strand.

Graphics[edit]

Selachimorpha is a piece of Aquatic Headgear which when equipped underwater adds iridescent blue fins to the character's arms, legs and back. The character is also surrounded by swimming schools of blue fish.

  • Charr characters have an additional two fins on the tail.
  • The fins have a dynamic rippling light effect.
Effects
  • The character's body is surrounded by large air bubbles and schools of blue fish.
  • The character is trailed by fish, air bubbles and a white jet stream.
  • The neon lines on the front the mask are lights that fade and pulse.
  • Currently, both the fish and the fins disappear when fully dead underwater.
  • The visual effect will disappear during downstate.
  • If Selachimorpha is worn while on a skiff, the blue fins will be present, but not the school of fish.
Transmutation
  • Head Armor can be transmuted to the Selachimorpha item skin but has no effects on land.
  • The transmuted Selachimorpha Head Armor skin has no snorkel.
  • If the transmuted Selachimorpha Head Armor skin is worn underwater, it will be replaced by the character's currently equipped Aquatic Headpiece.
  • If the Head Armor skin transmuted to Selachimorpha is worn underwater and the character has a hidden Aquatic Headpiece (including the Legendary Selachimorpha) there are no underwater effects and it appears as it would on land.
