The Gates of Maguuma is a release launched on July 1, 2014, and is the first episode in Season 2 of the Living World. It follows an attack on the Zephyr Sanctum over the Maguuma Wastes, opening up the new zone Dry Top. Players investigate the crash and search for the Master of Peace before the saboteur can find him. The new Story Journal is also introduced, combining the Personal story and Living World into a single storyline.
