Bug Fixes

• Herald— Draconic Echo: Fixed a bug that prevented facets from granting boons to allies when the herald used this trait.
• Fixed an issue that prevented players from unlocking Living World Season 4 Episode 3: Long Live the Lich for free.
• Fixed a server crash.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a rare server crash caused when players used the Earthshaker Mining Tool immediately after loading completed.

Update - April 9, 2019

Living World

• Disturbances in the Mists have opened rifts in certain locations around Tyria. Enter the rifts and defeat Branded Riftstalkers to close them!

World Polish

• Fixed a bug that caused some level-80 equipment to drop instead of unidentified gear.
• Starting an Adventure in Super Adventure Box will now fully restore the player's health.
• Fixed a bug that prevented players from acquiring the Mega Bomb bundle with a second character in Super Adventure Box.
• Bloodtide Coast: Phytotoxin Extractors will now correctly remove phytotoxins from players leaping over them while mounted.

Items

• Krait Scale: This item will no longer drop once you have unlocked the Krait Antiquarianism Study collection achievement.
• Recipe: Superior Sigil of Momentum: This item will no longer drop once you have learned the recipe.
• Recipe: Superior Rune of Resistance: This item will no longer drop once you have learned the recipe.
• Superior Rune of the Sunless: The conditions inflicted by the 6-piece bonus of this rune set must now hit a target in order to apply their effects.

Profession Skills

General

• Conditions that lasted for exactly one second will no longer occasionally fail to cause damage.
•  Torment: Fixed a bug in which this condition would sometimes deal extra damage on its last tick.

Engineer

•  Flame Blast: Updated the tooltip to reflect previous changes.

Guardian

•  Epilogue: Ashes of the Just: Added the number of targets to this skill's tooltip.
•  Steadfast Courage: Removed outdated recharge information from this trait's tooltip.

World vs. World

General

• Gates and walls have had their damage mitigation normalized to the damage levels done to tier 1 (wood). All walls and gates should now take the same amount of damage from a siege attack.

New Items and Promotions

• The new Magnificent Hummingbird Skimmer Skin is available in the Style category of the Gem Store for 2,000 gems.
• For a limited time, the Super Holo-Copter Glider Combo returns to the Style category of the Gem Store for 700 gems.
• To welcome returning players back to Tyria, the Experience Booster (quantity of 1) and the third episode of Living World Season 4, "Long Live the Lich,"[sic] are available for free via the Gem Store for all accounts. These will be available for 7 days.

Black Lion Updates

• The Black Lion Chest has been updated to the Light in Darkness Chest and can be previewed for a full list of its contents.
  • The new Mini Blue Skimmer Pup has been added as the guaranteed item. Use the Mystic Forge to unlock the whole family of skimmer pups.
  • The new Magnificent Hummingbird Skimmer Skin is available as an uncommon drop for the duration of this chest.
  • The Etherbound Package returns as an uncommon drop for the duration of this chest.
  • The Keepsake weapon set and Chaos weapon set are available as uncommon and rare drops respectively for the duration of this chest.
  • Unused versions of the Glyph of the Scavenger and the Glyph of Bounty are available as rare drops for the duration of this chest.
• The items available in exchange for Black Lion Statuettes have been updated. Black Lion Statuettes are redeemable by using the statuette itself or by exchanging one at any of the Black Lion Chest Merchants located in every major city.
  • A new selection of weapon skins from characters across Tyria has been added.
  • The exclusive Desert King Throne, Mini Exo-Suit Mounts Pack, and Celestial Compass Skin have been added.
  • The bonus collection has been updated to a selection of special items including Braham's Wolfblood Outfit, Marjory's Shrouded Outfit, Taimi's Outfit, Kasmeer's Regal Outfit, Rox's Pathfinder Outfit, Zafirah's Tactical Outfit, and the Verdant Executor Outfit.

Improvements and Updates

• For a limited time, the following categories of minis are available when using Black Lion Miniature Claim Tickets: Centaur, Charr, Dredge, Maguuma Jungle, and Ranger Miniatures. Black Lion Miniature Claim Tickets are dropped from Black Lion Chests. Keys for these chests can be found in the Utility category of the Gem Store for 125 gems each.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug that prevented players from dismounting after entering the Armistice Bastion Mystic Forge while mounted.

• Build: 96,186
• Two new Current Events achievements have been added, along with three new weapons that can be crafted using components that drop from the new rift events: Riftstalker's Talon, Riftstalker's Core, and Riftstalker's Sunderer.
• The three new rift events are:
  • Catch Brand crystals and use them to disrupt the rift (Brisban Wildlands, Diessa Plateau, Dredgehaunt Cliffs, Iron Marches, Kessex Hills, Lornar's Pass, Snowden Drifts)
  • Defeat the Riftstalker to close the rift
  • Escape the collapsing rift!
