Fallen from the Summit

Fallen from the Summit is an achievement from Chapter 3 of the Icebrood Saga, Visions of the Past: Steel and Fire, which involves collecting journals. The eight journals are all pieces of the same work: the Journal of Forgemender Arngirn, and they will gradually fill out the Books: Records of the Stone Summit bookshelf in the Eye of the North as you collect them.

Parts 1-5 are found within the Forging Steel strike mission (only interactable after defeating the Ancient Forgeman).
Parts 6-8 are located within the Darkrime Delves story instance and share locations with objectives from the related achievements Delving for Treasure and Heating Up the Delves.

Note that none of the books have object nameplates, just an interaction option when you get close enough.

2	Journal 2 in Forging Steel	Up near one of the sniper perches.
3	Journal 3 in Forging Steel	Northeast from the second waypoint, up on a high ledge.
4	Journal 4 in Forging Steel	From the second waypoint, head north and then east along the wall. The book is high up beside an arched doorway.
5	Journal 5 in Forging Steel	Head north from the second waypoint and look in an alcove to the west.
6	Journal 6 in Darkrime Delves	Near a pile of rocks at the end of a tunnel.
7	Journal 7 in Darkrime Delves	Up and around a mine cart track; near Treasure Chest 10.
8	Journal 8 in Darkrime Delves	Near the end of the instance; before confronting the final boss, in a room behind an ice wall with an Icebrood Warrior and Treasure Chest 11.
