Getting there
This mastery insight is located slightly south of the point of interest Uhiwi's Bones, in a remote corner surrounded by mountain walls. It can be reached easily by traversing the mostly open areas west of it. The path from the closest waypoint, the 
Lair of the Forgotten Waypoint — , leads southeast to a small basalt canyon at the eastern edge of the map and then south past Uhiwi's Bones and a Statue of Balthazar.
