Defeat the Ancient Sharks was a skill challenge event in Sparkfly Fen that required players to defeat Ancient Shark Pistrix and his brood.

- This event was removed in the January 28, 2013 game update, when the skill challenge was changed to simply require interacting with Ancient Shark Pistrix's corpse. Previously, the event frequently became bugged by players drawing the sharks outside of the cave, preventing completion of the skill challenge.
