Cold Resistance is an effect applied to players after they prepare a Thaw Elixir. It lasts until the daily reset and prevents the application of  Bitter Cold, allowing the player to explore The Bitter Cold area in Bitterfrost Frontier.

Acquisition

• The Thaw Elixir is brewed at Blister Cauldron using 1 Grawl Firestone, 8 Clumps of Frostbitten Suet, 3 Cold Resistant Eggshells and 12 Fresh Winterberries.

Notes

• Technically has a duration of 24 hours; however, it actually lasts until the next server reset, or a minimum of 2 hours.

Bug:

In WvW, may prevent claiming an objective, such as a camp, if all players have Cold Resistance. If another player is present without Cold Resistance, you can still receive credit for claiming the objective.
