Champion Watchknights are the improved version of older Watchknights, now impervious to hijacking methods akin to those used by Scarlet Briar to create her Twisted Watchwork army.

Though the improvements began during the Festival of the Four Winds, these Watchknights were not brought out to the public until the White Mantle began to lay siege to Divinity's Reach from Lake Doric.
