The Blazeridge Mountains are a mountain range east of Ascalon. The Dragonbrand, a trail created by the Elder Dragon Kralkatorrik after his rise and flight in 1320 AE, appears to have created a divide between the Blazeridge Mountains and the rest of western Tyria. Ogres come down from the mountains to claim living space in Ascalon.[1]
