I'm gonna be in the Vigil when I grow up! Yosif says I can't fight the dragons till I'm taller than his sword, but I'm real close!

He's my boss. Or he will be when I'm in the Vigil. He's real tall and real strong. He's a warmaster!

That's great, but why are you here now?

My dad got killed by dredge. I thought they were going to kill me too! But Yosif saved me. Then he took me here.

I'm real happy. The soldiers are all nice and I'm never hungry. I'm real important around here. Even if I can't fight dragons yet.
