Walkthrough
The legendary sand giant has attacks similar to other giants and hits hard. His shout will inflict 4 stacks of confusion and torment on the first hit and 5 seconds of fear on the second in a large range. Stun breaks and condition removal are important here. Instant condition removal such as Cleansing Fire is a perfect counter. He will throw rocks and send shockwaves at ranged targets that are relatively easy to dodge. The shockwaves can be reflected. His stomp has a large radius but ranged casters can avoid this and can be dodged easily. The shockwave attack will one hit most players. The event is a considered a world boss and the giant has a massive amount of health as a result. You will have around 20 minutes to kill the giant before the sandstorm is gone.
