Old Hutment Site

Old Hutment Site is an area making up the southeastern corner of Janthir Syntri. It contains the lowlander camp Forager's Hunt, a large wetland, and grassy terrain against mountains and cliffs around its east and south borders.

On the beach, north of Hunting Grounds: Kodan Stoutheart: You hear about that damn fool over on the Thunder Shores? The one chasing hurricanes?; Kodan Wildstalker: Indeed. Reckless lout's convinced that he can control the storm with his "unwavering warrior's spirit" or some such.; Kodan Stoutheart: Ah, to be young again.; Kodan Wildstalker: Ah, to be stupid again.

Around the campfire southeast of the Forager's Hunt Waypoint: Kodan Landspeaker: Hear what happened to Guiding Star's expedition team? They were attacked not once, but twice. This isle is trouble, it is.; Kodan Stoutheart: Not by a stranger, I hope...; Kodan Landspeaker: Just by wolves, they told me. According to Guiding Star, one was enormous and rotten.; Kodan Stoutheart: The creatures on this isle are never just rabbits or bees... They have to be beasts!

Southeast of the Hunting Grounds: Kodan Stoutheart: Ya know what really buzzes me? Folk who don't like heights.; Kodan Stoutheart: There's nothin' to fear about them if ya respect 'em. Just like the rest o' nature.; Astral Ward Skirmisher: You know, you're quite right. It's always struck me as odd that others must have ground beneath their feet.; Astral Ward Skirmisher: I don't see why being so high up is an issue. The view has always enchanted my mind and soul.

North of the area: Kodan Stoutheart: It's heartwarmin' to see Guiding Star takin' care of that toy for her son. What did she call it?; Kodan Wildstalker: "Mr. Quiggles," I think. Guiding Star says it's a good luck charm.; Kodan Wildstalker: They've never lost anyone on an expedition when Mr. Quiggles journeys with them.; Kodan Stoutheart: Is that so? Makes me think it's really got luck in it after all...; Kodan Wildstalker: That's what I'm thinkin', too.
