The damage listed is for Hounds at level 80 attacking a Standard Kitty Golem in the Special Forces Training Area.

- Bite — 822-925 damage, critically hits for 1245-1343. Causes 1 stack of Poisoned for 5 seconds and 1 stack of Bleeding for 5 seconds.
Notes
- The Mistfire Wolf has higher health and mobility than the Sylvan Hound and the Mistfire Wolf skill has a lower recharge time and casting time than the Summon Sylvan Hound skill. However, the sylvan hound is immune to conditions and lasts for 60 seconds while the mistfire wolf only lasts 30 seconds.
- When unsummoned, the hound gives life force to nearby necromancers.
- Can trigger certain traits related to bleed and poison, such as Blood Bond and Putrid Defense, and some relics, such as Relic of the Blightbringer and Relic of the Biomancer
- The Sylvan Hound acts like an amphibious pet, able to be both on land and in water.
- However, the elite cannot be used while underwater nor will it attack underwater.
