Melandru's Refuge is the southeastern section of Lake Doric. It appears to have been a swamp that was drained along with the rest of the lake. Scattered throughout the swamp are crates of bloodstone crystals which have adversely affected the local oakhearts. A small Statue of Melandru sits beneath the insight point, and a lone villager has taken up refuge in a tree house overlooking the swamp to avoid the White Mantle.
