Defeat the Riftstalker to close the rift is an event that occurs in the Mists Rift zone, accessed upon disrupting the rift in the previous event around Tyria.

Objectives

• Champion Branded Riftstalker
  
• Catch Brand crystals and use them to disrupt the barrier.
  (appears at 75%, 50% and 25%)

Walkthrough

Damage the Riftstalker until it reaches 75%. Catch Brand crystals, and use the skill provided at melee range to break the shielding, at which point the breakbar will be broken too. Repeat the process at 50% and 25%. Crystals not caught will produce weak branded foes. After the Riftstalker is defeated, you must quickly escape the collapsing rift by running to the exit as shown on the mini map or you will die!
