Temple of the Silent Storm is a structured PvP map. It is located on and inside a Kodan iceberg sanctuary. It is a conquest map with three capture points and various meditations that provide buffs for both teams as a secondary mechanic.
The map is riddled with elevation differences, especially in the center area where Meditation on Stillness can be found; jumping off the ledge will take you to a large cave that contains the Meditation on Tranquility and exit to the south which leads to the Gate capture point. The various ramps and cliffs in the map make attempting of losing opponents and prowling around the map for easy captures a worthwhile effort.

Secondary mechanics
Two 'meditations' spawn periodically through the map. After completing the channeling for each meditation, the respective team acquires the buff granted by that meditation. Communing will be interrupted on taking damage, teleport, stealth, or invulnerability.
- Meditation on Stillness (upper/center) — Your team receives double points for each captured point. Comes at 11:30, 8:30, 5:30, and 2:30. The buff is effective for 25 ticks. Successfully channeling this mediation will grant your team +3 points.
- Meditation on Tranquility (lower/north) — Captures all three points for your team, launching foes out of the capture point. Comes at 8:30 and 2:30.

Trivia
- Temple of the Silent Storm was added to the game in The Lost Shores update.
- The cave on the lowest level of the map (where the Meditation of Tranquility spawns) used to be filled with water. It was, however, removed with the October 1, 2013 game update. Staggered platforms were added to the insides of the pits connecting the upper and lower level of the map to ensure the intended accessibility to the cave and its respective meditation.
- Originally a Meditation of Ferocity would appear south-west and south-east, granting teams +3 points for each kill. It was later removed in the March 8, 2016 game update.
