Head Slaver Nymfassa is a high-ranking krait hypnoss that is in charge of Restless Deeps in The Mire Sea and transferring the Blue Orb between the krait deeps. The Pact Commander encounters her when she ambushes Apatia after stealing the Blue Orb. When returning to rescue Apatia after The Battle of Fort Trinity, it is discovered that Nymfassa has been corrupted by Zhaitan and transformed into a powerful Risen leading the other newly corrupted Risen krait.
