Drop rate is the unofficial term referring to the patterns what loot drops from which sources and how often. It is used to help farmers obtain items more efficiently by answering these questions:
- Frequency: how often do certain items drop from certain foes or containers?
- Type: what can we expect foes (or containers) to drop?
Types of Drops
There are several types of loot that drop:
- Coin: This drops from foes and some containers.
- Equipment: Any weapons, armors, or other items that can be equipped by the character.
- Consumables: Any item with a limited number of uses.
- Junk: Items that have no value other than to be sold to merchants.
