- "Sniper, No Sniping!" is a nod to "Swiper, No Swiping!", a phrase used in the kids' show Dora the Explorer, which has become a meme.
- "You Can Certainly Try" is a nod to Matthew Mercer, the Male Norn Pact Commander voice actor. The line is a catchphrase used by Mercer in the series Critical Role.
- The flavor text for the Jahai Bounty Hunter achievement; "Face the mighty nine! (Or, seven? Wait...)" is also a nod to the characters of Critical Role's Second Campaign.
