Citadel of Flame

The Citadel of Flame (abbreviated CoF, sometimes referred to as the Flame Citadel^[1]) is a dungeon located in the fire-mountains north of Ascalon, at the base of the volcano Hrangmer.^[2] It is the primary base of the Flame Legion and throne to Gaheron Baelfire, their imperator. The legion's survivors retreated here after their hold over the other High Legions was shattered at the Plains of Golghein.^[3]

Completing this dungeon or its reward track awards Tales of Dungeon Delving which can be used to purchase the dungeon's armor and weapons from any Dungeon Merchant.

To enter the dungeon, the meta event The Battle for the Flame Citadel and Senecus Castrum must be completed.
- Escort Razen the Raider to the Gates of Flame (69)
  - Begins at "Forlorn Waypoint"
- [Group Event] Hold the Gates of Flame against waves of Flame Legion (70)
  - Timed quest that lasts about 7 minutes. There are two spawn points – north and south of the bridge. There are veteran mobs, as well as a champion.
Alternatively, you can enter if your party leader already completed this event and they enter the dungeon first.
