Skyward Marches is a southwestern area within Skywatch Archipelago and shows an Elonian fractal where The Commander never returned to save Elona and Balthazar rules over the lands. Elona Fractal Research is a book further describing The Pact's failure to save Elona.

- Nervous Villager: All of those Zaishen showed up so suddenly. What's going on?
- Angry Villager: Oh! I'll tell you what's going on! They sold us all out to their damn god, and now they've got cold feet.
- Angry Villager: And they're going to bring all the fury of the Forged down on our heads in the process!
- Nervous Villager: Oh no. We've...we've gotta get out of here while we still can.
- Zekir: I heard from one of the others who went to the edge and confirmed it. We're really just floating in the sky now.[verification requested]
- Jaliyah: Then our days are numbered. The Forged will bear down on us soon enough.
- Zekir: Is it really that bad? We've survived to this point.

- Researcher Brinna: Astounding! I haven't seen raw magic manifest like this in a long time. What do you suppose is behind it?
- Elder Vasim: The land is unwell. Ravaged by Balthazar, and now torn from its proper place by this incursion. It is bleeding.
- Researcher Brinna: Wow, I'd never thought of it that way. But then what will happen with all of it uncontained like this?
- Elder Vasim: Like predators to a wounded animal, the Kryptis will be drawn to the lifeblood of this land. This magic must be purged.
- Researcher Brinna: We'll have to get a cleanup crew out here immediately then. We've got enough Kryptis to deal with already.
