Kraitbane Haven

The Kraitbane Haven is a landmark within the Treemarch Estuary. This rocky island rising on the northern edge of Quetzal Bay is home to a large contingent of Lionguard troops.

According to Eryd in the Hamlet of Annwen, Kraitbane Haven was first established as a smaller outpost to keep an eye on the emerging sylvari and gauge if they were going to be a threat. Once the Lionguard determined they wouldn't, they expanded construction into a proper haven and added it to the Lion Road trade route.

Now, this fortress serves to protect the caravans from krait attacks while expansion continues. While no-one disagrees that the defense of this stronghold is important still some of the troops express dissatisfaction with their posting.
