The Cattlepult is a catapult found in Freewain Pastures, designed by the charr Mad Mardine for launching cows. He and his assistant will require you to defend them while they experiment with their cow launcher.

If the event ends successfully, Mad Mardine will allow you to play a betting game where you get to bet 50 silver on how far the cows will be launched, with a chance to win a Flying Cow Token worth 1 gold. Note that the cattlepult may occasionally, "misfire" resulting in no winnings for any participants.

Using the Cattlepult is the only way to get to the top of Moorwatch Tower and activate the Vista there.

Dialogue

This device was built by Mad Mardine. It's designed to launch cattle, and looks large enough to fit a person inside. It also has a warning label.

The warning label reads, "This device is under the strict operation of Mad Mardine. Persons, objects, and other non-bovine matter must remain outside of the cattlepult."
Talk more option tango.png There's no telling what might happen, but I'll get inside. (teleports player to the nearby tower vista.)

Notes

After using the Cattlepult to get to the top of the tower, you are unable to move for a few seconds, even though the character isn't stunned, dazed, or incapacitated for that length of time.
